Mini-Camp
The Mini-Camp is designed to offer instruction and practice time in all areas of the game. We feature small group instruction as the campers move through the camp stations as a part of a team of campers of similar age and skill level. Our experienced instructors adjust the level of instruction to each group of players. There are some fun activities but Championship Softball is geared towards players who are looking to improve their skills by working with the best instructors available.
Hitting is an area of emphasis with time spent each day on instruction, trouble shooting and practice time. Drills to improve mechanics and bat speed are included to allow players to take new ideas home with them to allow them to continue to improve long after they leave the camp.
Time is also invested in creating a well rounded athlete with instruction offered in strength, conditioning and sprint training. The mental game is also introduced with a session on using goal setting, imagery and routines to improve play.
Defensive skills will be stressed with several sessions on fundamentals and skills specific to the position each camper plays. Pitching, catching, infield and outfield skills are all covered as a part of sessions designed to give each player an opportunity to work on the position they play.
